Au cœur des limbes

Qui dit vacances dit attraper l’un ou l’autre de ma très haute pile, certes à moitié effondrée donc plus large que haute, de « livres pas encore lus » et me plonger dedans.
C’est ainsi que j’ai goûté Une saison dans les limbes de Robert Scholtus : petit livre troublant en ce qu’il parle de ces zones frontières, de ces zones floues, qui semblent bien souvent régner en notre vie quotidienne.
Comme souvent avec lui, on a l’impression qu’il part en un sens – ici, la si facile et non moins fréquente dénonciation de la modernité – pour s’apercevoir qu’il en extrait finalement des paradoxes, qu’il cherche à montrer la complexité d’un sujet insaisissable qui est celui de notre vie…
Cela en fait un livre tout particulier, ardu et poétique à la fois, éveilleur de réflexions, de pensées, de méditations. Comme un appel à la vie, à nous ramener plus à notre condition de vivant, à nous sortir de notre éventuel contentement « limbal » qui nous guette chaque jour.
Car, au cœur de ce livre, on trouve cette page, qui s’inscrit comme une bonne bourrasque de vent reçue sur le visage, en ce qu’elle a d’instantané, de fort et de vivifiant :
